Roof and goslings

Yesterday a huge truck showed up in our driveway to deliver some of the supplies for our new roof. It was  supposed to have been done weeks ago but our weather has interfered with the roofer's schedule.  Anyway the truck has a conveyor which reminds me of one a farmer uses to put his hay bales up in the barn loft.
The men lifted up all sorts of roofing materials onto the roof ! Our new work date is Monday but we are supposed to have more rain and thunderstorm and possibly tornadoes for the next 7 plus days. Guess things will be postponed again!  LOL

This morning I felt good enough to resume my walks in Blue Springs' Railroad Park. I have been battling bursitis in the hip of my broken/healed leg.... which made walking etc. painful to the extreme. My new primary care doctor 's plan seems to be working!! Hooray for him!!

Look what was enjoying our very wet park's grass! Lots of new green stuff and probably lots of bugs etc.
The goslings are still somewhat downy but huge. Mom and Dad were keeping a vigilant eye on them so I didn't go too close! They are Canadian geese.... more of the flock were to my left.
The lake was quite full and running over the dam.  The path around the lake is 4/10 of a mile long... so it's easy to keep track of my mileage! Not that I do much currently!

I do hope that your weather next week is mild.

Good for you for keeping up with your exercise despite the pain. I sure know what that feels like. Good luck with your roof repair. We are looking for painters over here.
