cheese glorious cheese!

You couldn't see Torrey's cheese so I made him a new piece, much bigger!...After all, look how he risked his life getting it and thus was caught in the trap! Hope it was worth it!

So after all that... we headed off to the photo layout and did new pictures. Then I updated his etsy and BearPile postings

EBunny...

EBunny... Egg Bunny? Easter Bunny? You choose! He was needle felted from several colors of wool roving. He stands 7 inches form ear tip to toes. The eyes are black onyx beads... his nose was felted and then varnished. He has perle cotton accents.
EBunny can stand when posed and is 5-way string jointed. His vintage cardboard egg has great graphics and I have made chocolate eggs and jelly beans from polymer resin.
(if the egg is familiar... the last mohair bunny had it, but its new owner preferred a Valentine bunny)
EBunny has been posted on BearPile!

Edward the bear

Edward is looking around the corner... I'm not sure at what...
I just finished him and he makes me smile. Edward looks bigger than he is... not sure why... but he is only 9.5 inches and was made from curly Schulte mohair.

My DH and I have re-energized our office remodeling project! Hopefully soon we will be able to put things back where they belong. What restarted things was the successful hanging of a pair of unfinished bi-fold doors on the closet. They are oak six panel and will look great once we stain and shellac them. Edward was lucky not to find himself only partially finished... Other bears are waiting, cut out in plastic bags, for the next remodeling lull!

Pinkerton... revamped

Pinkerton ate all the Valentine chocolates he found... so when he found the flower pincushion, I decided it was time for a change! The pincushion was made from felted wool enhanced with perle cotton blanket stitching. I changed the photos on BearPile too! The pincushion is removable.

Pinkerton is off to Wisconsin

My "Destiny"

Destiny's name came from the disc she's wearing.... Destiny is pink for sure! Pink mohair, pinker Ultrasuede paw pads and a pink jacket.
She's 7 inches tall and has quite a pot belly ( too many Valentine chocolates?).

I am watching the comments on the giveaway below ... the number is now increasing slowly. But they are fun to read! I am will be choosing a winner soon ( check the deadline again if you have any questions).

I have started thinking about another giveaway... maybe this summer?

new bunny

It bunny-time, especially when you find a cute little vintage cardboard egg. We were driving to Tulsa and stopped in one of our favorite antique stores in Lamar, Mo. ( the home of Pres. Harry Truman's family farm). My husband found a neat Marx electric train ( very good paint!) and I found the egg!
So Billy the bunny asked for some candy... no egg is complete without jelly beans and chocolate eggs... and I complied ,using polymer resin.
Billy is on BearPile. ( Billy is heading off to Florida... lucky him!)

There's only a few days left to leave comments on the giveaway blogs! Go to the January 20th posting for the link to the list of blogs!
This has been lots of fun... I have visited every blog! I will probably go back and look again before the end!

SWAP?!

I have been reading all the wonderful comments about my little hedgehog and started thinking. I have another and could make more. Would a non-winner like to swap for one? Leave me a comment and after the end of the giveaway, I will contact you.
