Saturday is the spring Des Moines Doll and Bear Show... up in Iowa! It's a three hour drive from Blue Springs, so we'll be heading out about 4 to 4.30 am. At least in the Spring the sun will be rising during the trip. In the winter, the whole way is dark!
This show is always fun.. lots of returning customers/friends!

There's just something really fun about early morning starts to road trips. (well, in good weather) It's like you're sharing a secret with the world... and only the two of you know that you're about to depart.
