Sanibel Island, FL. is wonderful again. The weather is gorgeous... high 80's and sunny with enough of a breeze! Our condo is comfortable... we've rented the same one several times but the owner has updated! We also rented bikes and have been on a ride from the condo to the Sanibel Lighthouse Park and back! Wandered aound watching people... lots of fishing from the shore, boats and pier. We've checked into renting a kayak on Tuesday for a water tour of Tarpon Bay... self-guided. Tarpon Bay is part of the Dink Dingle Nature Preserve!
Read in the local paper that Sanibel is preparing for the oil spill to reach Florida.... hope it doesn't!!
Little bags of bear parts are going untouched in favor of shelling, biking, swimming and reading!!! And, need I say more, goofing off!

This has to be one of the most beautiful mornings I've seen. The cool, salty breeze is wonderful.
I've never done the kayak tour, but some of my family who comes to visit has, and truly enjoyed it.
