Drum Major is wrong...one has to have one's birth certificate match one's drivers license. . If they don't one cannot vote according to the SAVE ACT. A passport also makes one able to vote. My daughter changed her name when she got married ( and all her paperwork such as drivers license, social security card etc)... so her drivers license does not match her birth certificate. She is now applying for a passport.

Yep, I saw a subsequent article about this trauma applied to married women. Drats. Thank goodness I returned to my maiden name, so I just have to find the birth certificate again.... I prefer the olden days. Linda in Kansas
