I think we chose one of 2013's hottest days to help our son assemble and put up his new Pergola from Lowe's. His deck gets sun all day and the floor can get to be too hot to walk on. This should help! After I took the picture we moved the deck furniture back outside ( it had been in the dining room) and we collapsed....

what we did when it was 96 degrees out
I think we chose one of 2013's hottest days to help our son assemble and put up his new Pergola from Lowe's. His deck gets sun all day and the floor can get to be too hot to walk on. This should help! After I took the picture we moved the deck furniture back outside ( it had been in the dining room) and we collapsed....

don't envy you. I don't like it when it gets very hot.
I'm sure the shade will help keep the sun off the house as well.
