I went to talk with my neighbors next door the other evening... and what did I discover on their front lawn? A slider turtle busily digging a nest and then laying eggs. She laid 5 and then spent ages pushing the dirt back and it had to be just so!! The neighbors and I stood and watched almost the whole time... we left before she did, so we don't know which way she headed!
