One of my hearing aids doesn't seem to be working. I replaced the battery with two new ones.. still a problem. I bought them through Costco, so called the hearing center and have an appointment for 4 this afternoon. It won't surprise me if it's "broken" because they are over 4 years old...
Made it to Costco for my appointment. Boy was it crowded! I'm glad we weren't going to need the check out aisles! The hearing aid person decided that the problem was wax and cleaned the unit. It seems fine but he told me to call if it didn't continue to work!
Afterwards we were blocked into our parking spot... cars waiting to find a spot to park in were lined up behind us!
I expect tomorrow will be just as bad!

My son and I were at Costco too, buying most everything needed for our Easter feast. I bought hearing aids there too, mine are the kind I charge each night. So I don't buy batteries. I hope yours are working well now.
Thanks for reminding me to stay away from Costco today!
Whew! I get real nervous when my aides aren't working. Consider getting one of those heated air dryer devices for your aids. It keeps them working longer. You can also get one of those air dryer jars with the silica wafer in the bottom from your hearing aid place, or Associated Audiology (several offices,) or Midwest Ear Institute connected with St. Luke's. Another way is to save up all those little silica gel packets you get inside medicines or new purses/luggage and put them in a jar with your aids, with the battery doors open. Linda in Kansas
