I finally decided to use the back side of a vintage mohair lap rug I had found years ago! I had made several from the front side - a wild pattern in golds, browns, reds and green - but not the back. It was , and I say was, because I made Rudy and another non-bear item from it, a huge, soft piece and I was reluctant to make the first cut!Rudy was made from a new pattern.. he has a big head, large muzzle and round tummy. I decided to play with Ultrasuede eyelids...these show brighter in the picture than in actuality. I hadn't done them before , so that was fun. He also has perle cotton eyebrows. I posted him on ArtFire this morning.....
