Needle felted pumpkin giveaway winner

My needle felted pumpkin giveaway has a winner ! I inveigled my husband to pull the name from this cute little Halloween bag which I won on a giveaway last year. He pulled "Laurel's" name.... and I will be emailing her shortly to tell her!!

I hit the 300 "favorites" on etsy.com last night!!! So here is my giveaway....one of my needle felted pumpkins. He was made from hand-dyed wool roving with German glass eyes and a wire curlique . He measures 2.25 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall.

the weather is hot so I've been sewing

What is there to do when the temperatures hit 111 degrees? Well... I've been sewing and reading. Bob and I lug shopping bags full of books home from the library and sit and read for hours at a time!
But I also sew.... hand sew little bears. This is Tommy and his friend Chaps. I found the basket and the (plain) puppy on the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby. The puppy was too plain so he has been enhanced with coptic markers. You can find them both on BearPile
